YOUR VARIED RANGE OF RESPONSIBILITY

To help us expand our Düsseldorf office, exciting opportunities await you in a dynamic environment. You’ll be part of Nico’s M&A Tax Team (which includes three on-site tax advisors) and will support us in growing the business and advising our clients throughout the transaction cycle.

The following responsibilities await you:

Contributing to and supporting specialized tax advisory services
Participating in project-based work and transactions (no routine tax filing or tax returns)
Participating in tax-driven structuring, tax due diligence reviews, and related contract negotiations
Assisting with publications and technical research
Contributing to special projects

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING WITH YOU

We should get to know each other if you:

have completed a degree in economics or law with very good grades and relevant specializations (e.g., taxation, tax law)—and/or already have experience in financial administration—and/or have worked at a university department
have gained initial practical experience through training, internships, or an entry-level position in a tax department (consulting or industry)
can confidently navigate complex issues thanks to your quick grasp of concepts and analytical thinking
are a team player (m/f/d) and are characterized by motivation, flexibility, and a strong sense of responsibility
have excellent German and English skills and are proficient with MS Office
have a good sense of humor

Ideally, after your internship (between 2 and 6 months), you will aim to start your career immediately in the M&A tax field.
